Home Depot Offers to Recycle CFLs

On a quick follow up to the last post, the New York Times reported today that Home Depot will now accept old CFLs for recycling. All of their stores will be CFL recycling posts and since it is estimated that 75% of the population lives within 10 miles of one - in fact, I think we live within 10 miles of 3 or 4 of them!!!

I'm not a big fan of the mega-type stores and I still like to patronize local hardware stores whenever I can, but I have to admit this is darned convenient and will likely go a long way to helping people adopt the use of CFLs more readily.
